The bomb squad is searching for explosives at several private addresses. A man in his 20s has been arrested, the police inform VG.

– The man who has been arrested is in his 20s, police lawyer Anne Haave in Trøndelag police district informs VG at 23.10 on Thursday night.
Armed police moved out after they at 14.19 received a report of a threatening man on Glåmos who was in possession of weapons.
The police moved out with several patrols, and at 14.26 the man was arrested without drama. According to police, there was no danger to other people.
Several weapons and possible explosives were found at the site.
Haave confirms to VG that there are several different types of weapons that have been seized, but does not want to elaborate on what kind of weapons are in question or how many.
– We have received assistance from the bomb squad to search for explosives at several private addresses and in the surrounding area, Haave says in a press release.
The man is charged with improper possession of a weapon and is in police custody.
– The investigation is still ongoing, and the bomb squad is still in Trøndelag, says Haave and states that the investigation will continue throughout the night.
It is not known whether the person belongs to an environment, has operated alone or is known to the police before.
– We have not gone out in connection with anything, says Haave.
Haave further states that the accused is not a resident of Trøndelag. He has not been appointed a defender yet, Haave states.
