Discovery of the dead

On Tuesday afternoon, a dead person was found outside Kramfors in Sweden in connection with the search for 25-year-old Liselotte.

The identity of the person has not yet been established.

Informed about the discovery

– The person was found in the research area where we expected to make some discoveries. Liselotte’s relatives were informed of the discovery, says Peter Wikberg, interim police spokesman, to express.

The body was found by the police dog patrol.

Suspected of murder

The 25-year-old woman has been missing since October 8, when she disappeared from her home in central Timrå. Her cell phone is said to have subsequently been moved to the area around a cottage in Kramfors, where police prioritized finding Liselotte.

The police do not wish to comment on the cause of death or other circumstances at this time.

A man in his forties is in custody, suspected of kidnapping and murder.

In a statement, the prosecution writes that the man and woman were not unknown to each other and that intense investigative work is underway.
