Two clandestine monitoring centers, a safe house with weapons and a bunker where explosive devices were stored to be detonated from drones, are part of the arsenal that has been secured in Teocaltiche, Jalisco after inter-institutional operations between the Army, National Guard and Secretariat of State Security.

Through a statement, the Government of Jalisco reported that this October 4, more than 40 explosive devices enabled for drones were located, as well as 10 incendiary explosives, six boxes of detonators, seven kilos of gunpowder, seven kilos of sulfur, nine kilos of potassium chloride, 20 kilos of shrapnel and one kilo of grease gun.
All in a home on Michoacán and Los Ángeles streets in the El Tanque de Teocaltiche neighborhood.
Regarding the monitoring centers, experts say that they are used to monitor not only the movements of the authorities but also the criminal groups themselves.
“With this they have control of seeing where they are going and being able to buy time for illicit activities. Those in charge of intelligence are monitoring their own employees and their own criminal group. People who are dedicated to falconing or other types of activities that have to do directly with this company,” mentioned Rubén Ortega, researcher.
In August 2022, the way video surveillance operates went viral. This video shows how an armed commando deprived four young people of their freedom who were allegedly in charge of installing homemade security cameras and monitoring them.
It occurred at the junction of the municipalities of Nochistlán and Apulco, Zacatecas, about 15 kilometers from Teocaltiche. They were Sergrio Esaú Martínez, Héctor Abner Donoso, Jaime Fernández Morales and José Manuel González, all with an investigation file for disappearance.
Given these events, the security authorities of the three levels of government continue with their intervention in the area, until now there is data on four detained people who have been made available to the authorities along with the evidence seized.
