Discovering Vicco’s Vision for a Sustainable Nightlife and Celebrating Their Performance at Benidorm Fest

The first Eco Talk of 2023 by El Eco de LOS40 gave a lot of itself. A talk in which several experts and relevant people in environmental matters were present to address a topic of vital importance: pollution. And an event in which, how could it be otherwise, music was very present.

The Catalan singer Vicco, one of the great revelations of the latest edition of the Benidorm Fest, was in charge of putting that musical note. She did it performing live, on the piano, a beautiful version of ‘Nighttime’, the song with which she was third in the appointment that gave the pass to Eurovision to Blanca Paloma.

Vicco – Nightfall (Piano version) | Live on LOS40 Eco Talk

Minutes before, Vicco exchanged opinions with the participants in the Eco Talk, in which he recalled that artists “have the privilege of having an exhibition and an audience that follows us We have to take advantage of it to, in addition to sharing our content, convey messages like the one that has brought us here”.

Spread the word

In this sense, Vicco recalled the role that social networks have in getting these messages to their fans. “In a way we are spokespersons. That is why it is important to use the networks to share all these messages, articles, post, etc that can help raise awareness among our public about social and environmental causes”.

And it is that Vicco is very aware of his responsibility. “I think we can all do our bit,” he explained. “Music is a perfect way to communicate messages of conscience. We can apply all that awareness to clothes, to shows… to everything, in order to generate support for this cause. It is very important to participate in the defense of the planet: it is our present and our future. Just by making small changes we can achieve great things.”

We only had one thing left to know: what would a sustainable ‘Nighttime’ look like? Vicco is very clear about it. “It would be a party with reusable cups and crockery, in which all waste is correctly separated and deposited in the correct places. A party that is as respectful as possible with the planet.”

Confirmed for Primavera Pop

Vicco has become one of the great revelations of the moment. For this reason, her concert will be one of the most anticipated among those that will be part of LOS40 Primavera Pop, which will take place on April 14 and 15 in Madrid and Barcelona.

In the case of Madrid, the appointment will be at the WiZink Center. The Catalan will join a cartel which will also include David Bisbal, Lola Indigo, Ana Mena, Álvaro de Luna, Pablo López, Abraham Mateo, Beret, Nil Moliner, Marc Seguí, Marlon, Bombai, Depol, Leo Rizzi and Polo Nández.

A day later, in Ruby (Barcelona), Vicco will take the stage with Abraham Mateo, Álvaro de Luna, Nil Moliner, Beret, Marc Seguí, Marlon, Bombai, Leo Rizzi, Vicco, Polo Nández, Walls and Depol.
