Your car is full of different elements, and now we will take you to discover one of the lesser known ones. Here’s what it is.
Our car is chock full of many elements that you are not aware of, and today is the day in which you will discover a real gem in relation to the vehicle that allows you to move wherever you want. Nowadays, cars are increasingly rich in technologyand from this point of view, they are increasingly rich in software and the cockpit resembles that of an airplane.
The old analog tachometers have been replaced by digital instruments, and for those who remember the old CD players, know that today there is no more room for them. The dashboard is in fact dominated by increasingly large screens, which have far exceeded 10” in size, to let you enjoy a driving experience that can drag you into the future at the speed of light.
Returning to the starting point, we are referring to something that is fundamental in your car, because it will take away a lot of embarrassment when you go to refuel. In fact, we’re talking about that element that tells you which side is right to refuel.
Cars, here is the element that tells you where to refuel
It will certainly have happened to you to go to a service station to refuel your car, and at least once in your life, you must have had this doubt: which side of the car is where the fuel filler flap is located? Sometimes, even if we have refueled hundreds of times, this doubt comes to mind, but know that now you no longer have to fear.
In fact, the fuel filler flap indicator is positioned on our dashboard, as well shown in the photo posted here. Indeed, next to the symbol where the refueling pump is drawn, there is also a small arrow, which indicates the side of your car on which the fuel filler flap is positioned. If the arrow is to the right, it means that it is in that position, and the same is true if it is indicated to the left.
This argument, and it should be emphasized, is valid for all cars produced in recent years, while in older ones, it is probable that this device is not present. Almost all cars have the door placed on the right side, i.e. the one opposite the driver’s seat (unless you are in the United Kingdom, Australia or in the few countries where you drive on the left).
As far as Japanese cars are concerned, however, things can be different. If you own one Toyota or one HondaIndeed, it will be almost certain that you will have the flap positioned on the left sideor the same from which you enter to take the controls of your car.
A different parenthesis concerns plug-in hybrid cars. In fact, for them there is a double indicator, one which indicates the fuel filler flap, one for what concerns the socket. This last point is also valid for full electrics, which only need to be opened to insert the plug.
