Sunday 13 October, in the hamlet of Santa Giulia in Porto Tolle, the “Ottobrata di Arcadia” event took place, organized by the Arcadia restaurant. The idea was born from the Osteria Arcadia family, led by the tireless Pamela, with the support of the Deltapoolservice Consortium and its associates. The initiative aimed to promote the Po Delta area, offering participants a day of conviviality and the discovery of local traditions.
For the occasion, via Luigi Longo has been transformed into a large convivial outdoor space, where long tables have been set up. Participants were able to taste the typical dishes of the Polesine cuisine and the new oysters from the “ostrabora” production, all accompanied by live music. In the splendid setting of the inn’s garden, an open bar offered aperitifs, coffee and cakes, while some local craft exhibitors enriched the atmosphere with typical products.
In addition to the culinary offer, various outdoor activities were organised, including boat excursions with local fishermen, e-bike rides in the Po Delta, trekking along the Po di Gnocca and even a free hatha yoga lesson with Lino. Guests were able to explore the wonderful territory of the Po Delta accompanied by expert guides. The kitchen was open from 10.30am to 3.30pm, without the need for reservations, and the event was a great success thanks to the hospitality and impeccable organisation. Osteria Arcadia thanks the support of the Municipality of Porto Tolle, the local Pro Loco and the Croce Verde di Adria association which contributed to creating a memorable day, dedicated to relaxation, good food and the discovery of the natural beauties of the territory.
