During this month of Ramadan where a rich program was drawn up by the direction of culture and the arts, singers of the wilaya of Blida expressing themselves in various genres came out of a long lethargy to finally find the public.
According to Al-Hadj Meshoub, head of management, the month of Ramadhan is an opportunity to encourage these many young singers from the wilaya to go on stage. “When an artist does not activate too much, he sinks into oblivion, becomes lazy and even risks giving up”, explains Meshoub.
The latter also evokes the question of the budget, because according to him, “the invitation of renowned artists, such as Abdelkader Chaou, Djaâfri, Samir Toumi or others requires a large budget”. “From this point of view, we are very limited and we have not yet obtained the budget for the current year”. “The choice of local artists is a godsend for us,” notes our interlocutor.
Last Sunday, at the house of the artist, Sidi El-Kebbir and Salim Bachiri, hosted an evening and aroused enthusiasm among lovers of chaâbi, many of whom came to reconnect with the atmosphere of yesteryear.
The singer Hacene Benblidia with his hoarse voice also found the public in Ouled Yaich where he was strongly applauded. Nacer Mokdad, also a chaabi singer, delighted lovers of the genre in Chebli who lived, last Saturday, a long evening that they are not ready to forget.
Kamel Belkhirat and Samir Lalague are scheduled to host the last evenings of this month of Ramadan. Religious song (Madih Dini) is also on the program. The young artist Bellil will be on display for the 27eday of this sacred month where a great evening of circumcision is also planned in the conference room of the wilaya.
