(PLO)- The body of a man who died in the acacia forest was identified as Mr. NTT, who was serving a criminal sentence in the community for property theft.
On January 6, the leader of the People’s Committee of Duc Ninh Dong ward, Dong Hoi City, Quang Binh said that a person serving a criminal sentence in the locality was recently discovered dead in the acacia forest by people.
This person was identified as Mr. NTT (40 years old, residing in Dong Hoi City).
Accordingly, Mr. T is serving a sentence in the community for theft of property, a suspended sentence of 18 months, probation of 36 months managed and supervised by Duc Ninh Dong Ward Police.
On November 9, 2023, Mr. T left home but did not know where he went. Duc Ninh Dong Ward Police, after summoning twice but Mr. T was not present, advised the People’s Committee of this ward to prepare a report for Dong Hoi City’s enforcement agency to handle according to regulations.
At noon on January 5, 2024, while clearing land in the acacia forest area of Dong Son ward, Dong Hoi city, they discovered a decomposing body and reported it to the authorities. This body was later identified as Mr. NTT.
Currently, Duc Ninh Dong Ward Police have sent a report to Dong Hoi City Police for investigation and handling according to the provisions of law.
