The non-profit Steyr housing and settlement cooperative “Styria” has been a guarantor for high-quality housing for more than 70 years. Apartments, bars, garages and settlement houses have already been built in 87 communities. More than 10,000 units are managed in the federal states of Upper and Lower Austria.
The “Styria” scores with architecturally appealing residential buildings that are built at the normal cost rates for housing subsidies. This is achieved on the one hand by choosing the right plot of land and on the other hand by optimal heat and noise insulation of the building. The use of biological building materials ensures the plus in living comfort. This makes high-quality and beautiful living affordable and the residents are completely satisfied.
The current construction activity extends over the whole of Upper Austria. The management of the cooperative is the responsibility of the six-member honorary board under Chairman Dr. Martin Schlossgangl.
