Discover what France is like through the eyes of an Australian chef: watch the new program “Get to know France with Manu!” TV3 Life!

From Brittany to Biarritz, from the Rhone Valley to Paris, from the French Alps to the Mediterranean Sea, it will be an exciting adventure through picturesque France with the charismatic and cheerful star of the Australian show “My Kitchen Secrets”, Manu.

First he will go to his native country, the province of Brittany. Here, in Gidele’s village, every house and every tree reminds him of his childhood, and of course Manu invites us to visit his childhood home, where he is welcomed by his mother, an excellent cook and source of inspiration for his first book. It is here, in Brittany, that the famous chef also took his first steps in the kitchen.

With joy and nostalgia, Manu will relive his apprenticeship at the local restaurant and will join his uncle at the village butcher to make sausages.

Manu will then travel through the Bordeaux wine region, along the Dordogne River and finally to the surf mecca of Biarritz, where his sister lives. At the family reunion, Manu will allow you to take a look at the still unknown horizons of his personality, as well as meet the locals and share his favorite recipes.

But the journey will only begin with that. Using all means of transport, even a canoe, a seaplane, a donkey and an old Renault, Manu will fully enjoy the nature and rich cultural heritage of France. And not only that: he will cook, feast on delicious food and share exciting memories.

See what France is like through Manu’s eyes – watch the new show “Get to know France with Manu!” from 14 September at 13.05 TV3 Vita.
