The exhibition “Leaving your mark, discovering the seals” begins this Tuesday, October 17 at the Tour aux Puces. Designed to be inclusive, it is accessible to visually impaired people thanks to Braille translations. QR Codes also allow the reading of explanatory texts. The museum provides visitors with single-use blackout masks for total immersion in the experience offered. Wax seals, “often made with great attention to detail to avoid falsification” as Mayor Pierre Cuny points out, were the main means of authenticating a document before the advent of the handwritten signature. The exhibition is on display from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., until November 19.
