Al-Marsad Newspaper: Family physician Dr. Saud Al-Shehri revealed a simple habit that can be done on a daily basis, and that protects against diabetes in a large proportion.
Al-Shehri said, in a video clip that he shared through his official account on the “X” platform, that walking for 30 minutes a day protects you from diabetes by 25%.
He added that it also lowers blood sugar by 22% if you walk 10 minutes after a meal, explaining: “If your sugar is 200, walking half an hour after a meal brings the sugar down to 138, which is very wonderful.”
