In the game, the player acts as an elf named “SCHiM”. They exist in it. Everything in the world has its own SCHiM, and the SCHiM will never be separated from the main body.
However, this game has a story. That’s right, “SCHiM” is not a simple 3D puzzle game. According to the description, since the birth of the host, SCHiM has been in the shadow of the host, silently watching the various scenes that the host has experienced in his life. However, the protagonist played by the player, the elf, was accidentally separated from its host.
So the elf has to hop all the way through the streets of the city, hoping to hop back to his master.
Players can find shadows on the rotating 3D streets. Whether it is pedestrians or vehicles, as long as there are shadows, they can be the path for elves to move.
“SCHiM” is a game that overseas developer Ewoud van der Werf started to make in 2020. He was inspired by his own childhood experience. Children always like to jump and play on shadows, and this game he was studying at university At one time, he was favored by publishers, and eventually dropped out of school to devote himself to long-term development.
Because of the novel gameplay concept and the concept of art color design, “SCHiM” has attracted the attention of many independent game circles before it was released.
