The month of Ramadan is the ninth month in the lunar year, and it comes after the month of Sha`ban, followed by the month of Shawwal, and God Almighty has preferred it over the rest of the months of the year. Because it is one of the pillars of Islam, and its fasting is obligatory for every Muslim, and about it the Prophet – may God’s prayers and peace be upon him – said: (Islam was built on five, bearing witness that there is no god but God, and that Muhammad is His servant and His Messenger, establishing prayer, paying zakat, and paying zakat. and fasting Ramadan).
