For the very first time, the Vélotour will stop in Reims on Sunday August 29th.
The principle of this event is to (re) discover more or less unusual places in the city by bike.
Ten sites were selected for this first edition (see below).
A course of 15 km in total to which can be added an optional loop of 6 km to the exhibition center, for the more courageous.
Departures will take place from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. from Porte Mars with supplies from the Parc de la Butte Saint-Nicaise.
3000 participants are expected.
The festive and family event is open to everyone, besides 25% of cyclists are under 12 years old.
Prices vary according to age, chosen departure time and reservation date.
From 5 to 7.5 € for children children (under 12) and from 10 to 15 € for adults.
The ticket office is already open on velotour.fr.
Almost 1,000 places have already been reserved.
More than a hundred flaggers will supervise the event to guide the participants and ensure their safety.

1 – The Manege, the Circus – National Stage
The Manège is made up of a theater and a circus that you can discover from the inside by crossing the track of this building of 800 plcaes dating from the 19th century.
2 – CPA Cathedral car park
Have you ever cycled underground? An original passage through this underground car park to the rhythm of music played by a DJ.
3 – Tau Palace
You will cross the hall and the courtyards of this archiepiscopal palace located at the foot of the Cathedral.
4 – Champagne Ruinart
A visit to the main courtyard of the oldest Champagne House, founded in 1729.
5 – Reims-Champagne Automobile Museum
A crossing of the alleys of the museum. The opportunity to discover more than 200 prestigious cars and motorcycles as well as some vintage bikes.
6 – Georges Clémenceau High School
Cyclists will be able to cross a huge corridor almost 200 meters long.
7 – The Cardboard
Come and discover everything that makes up this unique place, from the concert hall to the studios.
8 – Parking CPA République
After an underground car park, you will explore an overhead car park. Located opposite the aqualudic complex and the future Arena, it is the largest in Reims. By pressing on the thighs, you can admire the view of the whole city from the top floor.
9 – Halles Boulingrin
The final touch of this route will take you through this architectural masterpiece, renovated in 2012.
