Amman – Screenings of “Gulf Film Nights… The Rise of Young Cinema” will begin tomorrow evening in the cinema hall, at the Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation in Amman.
According to the Foundation’s statement yesterday, the screenings, which are organized by the Foundation’s Cinema Department and last for 3 days, include two Saudi films and an Emirati film in Arabic with English subtitles, and the film screenings are followed by a discussion with the audience. The shows will begin tomorrow evening with the Saudi film “The Crow’s Song,” directed by Muhammad Al-Salman and produced in 2022. The Saudi film “Before We Forget,” directed by Nawaf Al-Janahi and produced in 2021, will also be shown.
The screenings will conclude next Thursday evening with the Emirati film “Go to Paradise,” directed by Saeed Salmeen Al Marri and produced in 2015.-(Petra)
