Al-Marsad Newspaper: The Saudi Al-Arabiya channel presented a report on “Hamada Al-Termos”, which is located in the Al-Qassim region, 460 kilometers from Riyadh, and produces many tons of grapes.

The reporter inspected one of the grape farms in the Hamada Al-Termos area, where the supervisor of the farm explained that grape cultivation was chosen due to the fertility of the water in this area and the fertility of the sandy clay soil rich in elements useful for agriculture.

The farm supervisor continued, “The farms in this area are ready for export, and the grapes are all of the luxurious types.”

He explained that this region has more than 20 varieties of grapes, all of which are successful and luxurious.

The reporter concluded his speech, that the Kingdom has 3 thousand hectares of these farms, which produce more than one hundred thousand tons annually of grapes, and there is self-sufficiency of more than 59% of the production of these natural grapes.
