Cyberpunk 2077 isn’t afraid to include references to other games or TV shows. You can find several of these scattered throughout Night City, including small references to Death Stranding, Mortal Kombat, Blade Runner, and more. You also probably won’t be surprised to learn that CD Projekt Red also likes to reference its previous projects, as you’ll find several references to The Witcher 3.
It looks like the recently released Phantom Liberty DLC is no different, and the eagle-eyed among you may have already encountered another well-hidden hint about Geralt and his friends. In the early stages of the expansion, the player character calls an old analog phone that allows you to dial any number you like. A great place to hide a few secrets.
If you look at the wall behind the payphone, you’ll find several phone numbers taped over, with absolutely no context as to who they are associated with. Most of them are nonsense, either playing music or sending you straight to a busy line, but one of them is actually a small reference to The Witcher 3. Enter the phone number 5745552377 that you see in video and you will be greeted by the main theme of The Witcher 3.
What makes this little reference even better is each character’s reaction. You can clearly see Johnny Silverhand smiling as the tune starts playing while V just stands there completely confused.
