It is an unexpected, green enclave in the Rotterdam port area: Landtong Rozenburg. This elongated piece of nature arose spontaneously on top of the man-made soil depots.
On this small piece of green, Menno sees the poplar wasp butterfly, orchids and hundreds of sand martin nests. Meanwhile, gigantic oil tankers sail past grazing highlanders and buzzing bees. Because the salt water here enters the country for tens of kilometers, we find all kinds of special fish and plants here.
