Montauban has about ten parkings distributed in the agglomeration and 800 places free about 5 minutes from the National Square. But to park in the Cité d’Ingres, residents and other motorists passing through can also take advantage of the presence of 480 spaces in blue areas, as well as nine park-and-ride facilities linked to the bus network, and a “market shuttle” at a reduced price. Repeated free access in the city center
The urban community has just decided to reiterate its gratuity device in the heart of the city, considering that with these amenities, “Montauban is able to welcome all visitors who wish to go there, in order to take advantage of its architecture, to stroll through the narrow streets of the center, to perform shopping, or to come and work there”.

Incidentally, the agglomeration recalls the free access measures financed by the City and Greater Montauban, forr “facilitate the conditions parking et promote economic activity from the heart of the city”. In details :
Free of 2h of parking in the Consul Dupuy and Griffoul car parks on Saturday between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. and in the Roosevelt car park between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. Free of charge first 20 minutes parking spaces in the Griffoul parking lot and the Roosevelt parking lot. Free parking every day from Monday to Saturday between noon and 2 p.m. and from 7.15 p.m. in metered areas. Free on Sundays and public holidays. 37 PRM spaces, located in these paid areas, are free for a period of 7 hours. Free parking limited in duration on blue areas between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. (free for 30 minutes, or 1 hour on place Lalaque, subject to presentation of the parking disc). Shuttles and car parks outside the city center
In addition, other devices are in place to get to the city center from outside. The Grand Montauban recalls two main ones:
The “Market Shuttle” to get from the car park d’Eurythmie at the Esplanade des Fontaines for €0.60 round trip on Saturday morning.
