Discover the fine selection of Pépites 2020, prize of the Montreuil-France Télévisions Children’s Book Fair

As every year, the Salon du livre et de la presse jeunesse en Seine-Saint-Denis (SLPJ) will award its prizes Children’s Book and Press FairFrance Télévisions, the famous Nuggets. The selection of books in competition, unveiled this Friday, October 16, 2020, strives to find originality, diversity and quality, in short the best of creation and children’s edition of the year.

The Pépites will be chosen by juries of children and adolescents in four categories: Illustrated Book, Junior Fiction, Comics and Teen Fiction.

The artists and authors of the books in this selection will be highlighted now and even more from December 2 to 7 at the Montreuil show, on France Télévisions, partner of the award and through the show’s new television, which will accompany live the event for the duration of the event.

The winners will be announced on December 2, at the opening of the show. One winner per category, appointed by the juries of children and adolescents aged 8 to 18, selected from over 400 young people. The Pépite d’Or will be awarded by a jury of literary critics, and will crown the best title of the year among the twenty books in competition.
