Discover the calendar of the four French clubs for the first phase of the competition

PSG will begin their Champions League campaign against Spanish club Girona on September 18 at the Parc des Princes, according to the schedule for the first phase of the competition announced on Saturday by UEFA.

Prestigious clubs await French teams

The French champions will then continue on October 1st with a trip to Arsenal. On October 22nd, the Parisians will travel to PSV before hosting Atlético de Madrid at the Parc des Princes on November 6th. The two clashes for the Parisians will take place on November 26th (Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena) and January 22nd (Manchester City at the Parc des Princes). Luis Enrique’s men will also go to Austria to face Salzburg on December 10th and will end this first phase with a trip to Stuttgart on January 29th.

Monaco will start with a big match at the Stade Louis-II by hosting FC Barcelona on September 19. The Monaco pitch will also host Red Star Belgrade on October 22, Benfica Lisbon on November 27 and Aston Villa on January 21. The Monegasques will travel to Zagreb to face Dinamo on October 2, then to Bologna on November 5. They will go to England, to the Emirates Stadium, to face Arsenal on December 11 before a final trip to Milan to meet Inter.

Brest will play their home games in Guingamp, at the Roudourou stadium. On September 19, Brest will host Sturm Graz, before welcoming the reigning German champion, Bayer Leverkusen, on October 23. PSV will travel to Roudourou on December 18. Stade Brestois will host the reigning European champion, Kylian Mbappé’s Real Madrid, for their last home game on January 29. They will travel to the grounds of Salzburg (October 1), Sparta Prague (November 6), FC Barcelona (November 26) and Shakhtar (January 22).

Lille will have a schedule made up of major European teams. LOSC will open the competition at the José Alvalade stadium to face Sporting Portugal on September 17, before hosting Real Madrid on October 2. They will then travel to Madrid to face the other club from the Spanish capital, Atlético, on October 23, before hosting Juventus Turin, at the Pierre Maurois stadium on November 5. They will travel to Bologna on November 27, and to Liverpool on January 21. They will host Sturm Graz (December 11) and Feyenoord (January 29).

This first phase will end on January 29, 2025. The first 8 will qualify for the 8th finals and the teams ranked from 9th to 24th place will play two-way play-offs (February 11-12 and 18-19, 2025) to access them. The final will take place on May 31, 2025 in Munich.
