But this year, no big construction site in the city center, only on the outskirts.

Replace rails in curves

Work to take care of the curves of the tram. First at the end of line 2 going towards Orvault, at Boissière, where work has already begun. They should end at the end of June. In the process, from the beginning of July, another work of the same type will take place at the end of line 1 and at the level of the curve halves just before arriving at the Beaujoire terminus. There, you will have to change 720 meters of rails at the foot of the future neighborhood house. The work will last all of July. In view of the arrival of longer trains

At the other end of this line 1, a major construction site will also take place at the terminus, to François Mitterrand, to lengthen the tracks by around ten metres. This is for future, longer oars, to enable them to turn around in this location. The tramway will be cut from July 4 to 24 between the Tertre and François Mitterrand stops.

The Busway cut

Finally, the only works in the city center will be for the Busway: at the level of the Carnot bridge, right next to the Lieu Unique, which must be redone. This means that, from July 11 to August 7, the Busway will stop at the city of congresses. It will then be necessary finish on foot : a big ten-minute walk to Foch-Cathédrale.
