An epicurean event not to be missed in Chartres (Eure-et-Loir) is back in the Eurelian city du October 20 to 22, 2023.

The Aux Vignobles show! has set itself the objective of revealing the treasures of local gastronomy and wines.

Wine and culinary trip to France

Organized at ChartrExpo, the Aux Vignobles trade show! invites you to a real oenological and culinary journey through France.

This 26th edition brings together 130 exhibitors enthusiasts, producers and winegrowers, including nearly 19% newcomers. Direct sales by producers, in a short circuit without intermediaries, discovery of the secrets of the terroir, winemaking methods and tastings are on the program.

The opportunity to immerse yourself in French wine and gastronomic heritage.

The taste of excellence

Exhibitors want to offer an original experience to visitors: direct sales, discovery of the secrets of the terroir, winemaking methods and tastings.

After four turbulent years, the world of events is experiencing a significant revival driven by demanding and attentive visitors. At our shows, we observe customers who are concerned about the quality of the products they consume and who are keen to know the origin and the history attached to them.

With an offer of 60% wine products, 33% gastronomy and 2% miscellaneous products, this show aims to be “for the 26th edition, the very essence of the French art of living, for the greatest happiness epicurean visitors, 61% of whom consider themselves to be enlightened wine lovers,” communicate its organizers.

The wines represented come from all regions of France in red, white and rosé wines. 95% of the wine offering is represented by the estates themselves.

The Loing Distillery

Alexandre, Paul and Martin, long-time friends, having grown up in Nemours, decided in 2021 to come together to build a joint project. Passionate about spirits for years, they opened the first micro-distillery in South Seine et Marne.

Domaine de L’Envolée (Loire Valley / Anjou and Coteaux Layon)

In 2013, after a professional reconversion linked to the vineyard and the land, Alix and Christophe created the Envolée estate from scratch by taking over the old buildings and purchasing a few plots of Merlot, Syrah and Marselan vines around the estate. . The vines are grown organically.

Gastronomy :

Food and wine pairings are not left out thanks to the presence of 44 specialized exhibitors in gastronomy, producers of foie gras, charcuterie, cheese, chocolate, pastries, spices and many other delights.

Vosges smokehouse

This small family butcher’s shop, nestled in the heart of the village of Val d’Ajol, offers a whole range of old-fashioned charcuterie, smoked from a beech wood log.

Jam Fairy

Founded in 2010, La Fée Confiture highlights the recipes of our grandmothers. Old-fashioned work in beautiful copper basins. Made with fresh, seasonal French fruits with organic cane sugar, the jams and jellies contain 70% fruit content.

Beers and spirits:

Selection of local and or themed beers, mixed rums, punch, cocktails, brandies, Cognac…

Local products village

Six producers from Eure-et-Loir can be found at the show. From apple juice to rillettes, the selection of local production is wide and diverse.

The strong point of the show: the tasting. It is the only point of sale that allows visitors to taste gastronomic and wine products before purchasing.

An educational and fun visit

If exhibitors are keen to tell their story and share their passion with visitors on their stands, the Aux Vignobles show! of Chartres reserves thematic courses captivating, to allow visitors to continue their immersion in the heart of French wines and gastronomy:

Heading towards the world of organic with wine and agrotourism itineraries through authentic products and traditional know-how (33% of the offer comes from organic farming).

Of the educational content are offered to visitors to learn about the world of wine, vines and gastronomy (good tasting practices, the history and general characteristics of the regions and terroirs).

To test his senses, aroma quiz challenges visitors to identify the different aromas in wine bottles, by smelling them blindly.
