After broadcasting the saga Harry Potter then the trilogy of Lord of the Rings, TF1 offers us since Tuesday the broadcasting of the saga Jurassic Park. If all fans of dinosaurs know this cult Spielberg movie by heart, did you know that there was an alternative ending to the first opus? An end that never saw the light of day and that could have been completely different if it had been chosen.

Indeed, in the end of Jurassic Park, Alan, Ellie and the two children are trapped by velociraptors in the park. They manage to escape thanks to the intervention of a diversionary T-Rex and attracts the attention of predators. The group took the opportunity to flee, join a helicopter and leave the island.
Except that storyboards have appeared and reveal a different ending. The writers had imagined that leaving the island by helicopter would not be so simple …
A more intense ending in the alternative version
As we can find out on the drawings of Phil Tippett, Dr. Grant and the children are chased by a T-Rex aboard a Jeep. Trees block the progression of the vehicle forcing them to descend and continue the race to join the helicopter. They manage to climb inside the machine, but the monster managed to grab a helicopter skate when it took off. Finally, the piece of the device is torn off by the mouth of the dinosaur and can now take off while being out of reach of the T-Rex. And this is how the survivors can leave Isla Nubar unharmed, but most certainly traumatized by this experience!
A very different ending from that of the official version offering more suspense and intensity.
