The Ministry of the Environment, during the last period, was able to complete a plan to develop and raise the efficiency of reserves and encourage environmental investment in them, and it succeeded in implementing more than 80% of this plan, on top of it Ras Mohammed Reserve in South Sinai Governorate, the Zaranik Reserve and Sabkhat al-Bardawil in North Sinai Governorate, and the coastal bush area in Rafah in North Sinai Governorate.
considered as Zaranik Reserve The natural marsh of Bardawil is one of the main keys to the migration of birds in the world, as it represents the first stop for resting birds and obtaining food after the trouble of the migration journey from Europe and Asia during the fall, heading to Africa. Some birds also reside in the region permanently and breed in it. More than 270 species of birds have been recorded in the reserve, representing 14 species. The most important birds that have been recorded are: pelicans, bacharosh, egrets, egrets, storks, martens of chickens, falcons, quails, al-Mara’a, white goats, crowned larks, macaques, jokes, and Abu. The Alexandrian Capes of Hijwalah, the Elba Nature Reserve in the Red Sea Governorate, the Al-Ameed Nature Reserve in Matrouh Governorate, the Saluga and Ghazal Island Reserve and the small islands between them (the first waterfall) in the Aswan Governorate, Ashtoum Al-Gamil Reserve and Tennis Island in Port Said Governorate, the Nabq Reserve in Sinai, St. Catherine, and the Petrified Forests The Tigris Valley in Cairo, Wadi El-Rayyan and Wadi Hitan in Fayoum, and the White Desert.
