From 2 to 8 September, the European Heritage Days will take place throughout the canton of Zurich
Castles, streets, bridges, squares and districts tell stories. This year, the Heritage Days are all about networking.
History Whether you’re hiking along historical paths to Kyburg and shaking hands with the 700-year-old gauntlet or following in the footsteps of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Rainer Maria Rilke or Richard Strauss in Winterthur – the European Heritage Days offer many opportunities to engage with history. This was announced by the National Information Centre for Cultural Heritage (Nike) and the European Heritage Days in a media release. The specialist departments of the Canton of Zurich and the cities of Zurich and Winterthur as well as many institutional and private organizers throughout the canton have put together a rich program for the population. pd/cnb
