Discounted Electricity Rates: Pay Only IDR 202,300 with PLN Promo

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – PT PLN (Persero) provides additional discount on electricity by paying only IDR 202,300 for all electricity tariff groups up to 5,500 volt amperes (VA). This special price promotion is valid from 1-30 September 2023.

Executive Vice President of Corporate Communications and TJSL PLN Gregorius Adi Trianto said, this promo program was in order to celebrate National Customer Day (HPN) 2023 which falls on September 4, 2023. The aim is to make it easier for customers who want to meet their electricity needs at a more affordable cost.

“Through this promo themed ‘Smile of 2023 PLN Customers’, customers can enjoy special prices that are much cheaper than normal prices,” he said in a written statement, Monday (4/9/2023).

As an illustration, customers with 450 VA power who wish to add power to 900 VA must pay IDR 421,650 during normal times, or if they want to add power to 1,300 VA they must pay IDR 769,450 during normal times.

Then for customers with 900 VA power who want to add power to 1,300 VA, they have to pay IDR 734,800 during normal times, or if they want to add power to 2,200 VA, they have to pay around IDR 1.21 million during normal times.

Then for customers with 1,300 VA power who want to add power to 2,200 VA, they have to pay Rp. 843,300 at the time. And if a customer with 2,200 VA power wants to add power to 3,500 VA, they have to pay around IDR 1.25 million in normal times.

And so on if you want to add to a higher power, the normal fee charged is far above the promo price which is only IDR 202,300.

“We hope that this opportunity can be utilized as best as possible by customers,” said Gregory.

As for people who are interested, they can take advantage of this power-added program by submitting it through the PLN Mobile application. Here’s how:

– Customers enter the PLN Mobile application

– Select the “Change Power and Migration” menu, then the customer fills in personal data

– At the end, enter the promo voucher code “SENYUMPELANGGANPLN”.

“The process is easy, the customer only needs to transact via PLN Mobile and enter the applicable code, then after the payment is confirmed, the local PLN unit will follow up on the process of adding the proposed power,” concluded Gregorius.
