“Discounted Cigarettes: Which Brands Will Cost Less According to Customs and Monopolies Agency”

Some brands of cigarettes will drop slightly in price. This is good news for consumers who have the opportunity to save money in the long run

According to the data of theCustoms agency and monopoliesthe prices of cigarettes in our country they have increased starting from 1 January 2023. The forecast is that this trend may continue for many years, also to try to encourage people to stop.

The latest increase has led to an average price increase of 15-20 cents per package with peaks of 50 cents for some more famous brands. Surprisingly, however, with one Directorial determination of 15 May 2023the Customs and Monopolies Agency sanctioned a change in the prices of some brands of manufactured tobacco.

Discounted cigarettes: which brands will cost less

From 16 to 30 April 2023, the Agency received requests from manufacturers and importers for a change in the selling price of some brands of manufactured tobacco. Considering that the changes in costs must also be established on the basis of what is required by manufacturers and importers, the Director of the Customs and Monopolies Agency led to the reduction in the prices of some brands of manufactured tobacco.

But what are the cigarettes for which there has been this “miraculous” drop in prices given the usually opposite trend? Here they are in detail:

• Davidoff classic (6.00 euros per package),
• Davidoff Gold (6.00 euros per package),
• Davidooff Gold SL Line (6.00 euros per package),
• Gauloises Blondes Blus (5.50 euros per package),
• Gauloises Blondes Rossa (5.50 euros per package),
• Jps Blue (4.90 euros per package),
• Jps Blue Stream 100 (5.00 euros per package),
• Jps Original (5.00 euros per package),
• Jps Red (4.90 euros per package),
• Jps Red 100 (5.00 euros per package),
• Jps Silver (5.00 euros per package),
• Jps Silver 100 (5.00 euros per package),
• Jps Ssl-Line Silver (5.00 euros per package),
• Jps Ssl-Line White (5.00 euros per package),
• Jps White (5.00 euros per package).
