Oppo has several lines of mid- to low-cost smartphones, including the Reno series phones that fall into the mid-to-high-end phone category, as the Chinese tech giant is now developing its latest releases.
And according to tech site ‘gsmarena’, the company Oppo is expected to announce a new series of phones launching under the Reno 9 name in China this month, and recently a bunch of rumors and leaks surrounding the devices revealed more specs about the upcoming Reno series.
Oppo Reno 9 series appears online
The series of leaked offers shared by the famous leaker, ‘Evan Blass’, has revealed the design that the Reno 9 range will come with, according to which OPPO will announce three new versions: Reno 9, 9 Pro and 9 Pro Plus.
According to the leaked images, the regular version of the Reno 9 series will come with a curved screen and the device will feature support for OPPO’s MariSilicon X NPU technology dedicated to AI noise reduction.
The Oppo Reno 9 phone specifications include a 6.7-inch OLED screen, a refresh rate of 120Hz and a resolution of 1080 pixels, and the screen features a fingerprint reader integrated into the bottom.
The regular version of Oppo Reno 9 will feature a 64-megapixel Omnivision OV64B main camera and a 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 selfie camera.
The basic version will run on the upcoming Oppo Reno 9, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor, which will come with 12GB of RAM, and the smartphone will pack a 4,500mAh battery, which supports 67W fast charging.
While the Reno 9 Pro Plus phone features a larger camera island with a streamlined design flush with the rest of the phone’s body, and current leaks indicate it will be powered by the latest chipset produced by Taiwanese company MediaTek of the type Dimensity 8000 , and the main camera will be equipped with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX 766 sensor.
