Al-Marsad newspaper: Forbes magazine has revealed the presence of 6 Egyptians, including 5 from the Sawiris and Mansour families, in the 2022 list of the richest people in the world.
And first came Nassef Sawiris, 61, whom Forbes described as the richest billionaire in the Middle East, with a fortune of $7.7 billion, despite a $600 million decrease in his wealth compared to to the previous year.
As for Naguib Sawiris, 67, Nassef’s older brother, he came in second among the wealthy in Egypt, with a fortune of $3.4 billion in 2022, up $200 million from last year, according to the list.
And thirdly, businessman Muhammad Mansour (74), a former minister, came and supervises the Mansour Group, which was founded by his father, Lotfi Mansour in 1952, and his wealth amounts to 2.5 billion dollars, which has not changed since last year.
And in fourth place on the list came Mohamed Al-Fayed, 93, with a fortune of $2.1 billion, after his wealth increased by $300 million from last year.
