Al-Marsad newspaper: The Moroccan national team has secured a huge financial reward of 25 million dollars, after reaching, for the first time in its history, the semi-finals of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, from the International Federation of Association Football.
Morocco managed to beat their Portuguese counterpart in the quarterfinals of the Qatar 2022 World Cup, (1-0) in the match that brought them together yesterday evening, Saturday, at the “Al-Thumama” stadium in the Qatari capital, Doha, to make history as the first Arab and African team to reach the Big Four group of the World Cup.
This prize is the largest received by an Arab team in World Cup history, after FIFA decided to allocate the largest financial prizes ever during the World Cup finals in Qatar.
