UEFA has just opened disciplinary proceedings against Real Madrid, Juventus and FC Barcelona in connection with the founding of the Super League. UEFA itself made this known through an official statement.
« Following an investigation by the inspectors of the UEFA Ethics and Discipline department into the Super League project, disciplinary proceedings were initiated against Real Madrid CF, FC Barcelona and Juventus FC for a potential violation of UEFA’s legal framework“, Explains the continental organization.
No further announcement has been made and UEFA will communicate at a later date on the sanctions it will impose on the three clubs.
