In relation to the publications made on social networks by Club León last Saturday, April 1, 2023
The Disciplinary Commission informs that, derived from the publications made on social networks by Club León last Saturday, April 1, 2023, referring to the match held between Clubs América and León of Liga MX, corresponding to Matchday 13 of the Closing Tournament 2023, resolved and notified Club León on April 4, 2023, of the following:
This Commission decided to financially sanction Club León, since it transgressed Articles 1 and 3 of Appendix I “Of Public Statements” of the FMF Sanctions Regulation, which prohibits making statements that imply damage, contempt, defamation or injury to the FMF, Clubs, Players, members of the Technical Staff, Referees, Managers, Officials, and/or any other affiliated with the FMF.
Finally, Club León was warned about its future conduct, since in the event that this type of action occurs again, the Disciplinary Commission could impose more severe sanctions against it.
