Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani ordered the dissolution of the motorbike club or community (moge), Belasting Rijder DGT, whose members are employees of the Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) to immediately disband.
For information, Belasting Rijder comes from the Dutch language with Belasting which means tax and Rijder which means rider. This dissolution was also the result of the widespread case of Rafael Alun Trisambodo whose family has a luxurious lifestyle, as well as the discovery of irregularities in the assets of the class III tax official.
As the case unfolded, netizens were again shocked by news and photos of the Director General of Taxes, Suryo Utomo, riding a Motor Gede (MoGe) with the BlastingRijder DJP club. Suddenly this made the public inflamed.
Responding to this, Sri Mulyani also gave instructions to the Director General of Taxes and the Belasting Rijder club.

Responding to the news, I convey instructions to the Director General of Taxes as follows:
1. Explain and convey to the public/public the total assets of the Director General of Taxes and where they come from as reported in the LHKPN.
2. Requested that the BlastingRijder DJP club be disbanded. Hobby and lifestyle of riding Moge – creates negative public perceptions and raises suspicions about the source of wealth of DGT employees.
Even if the Moge is obtained and purchased with lawful money and an official salary; driving and showing off Moge for Tax Officials/Officers and the Ministry of Finance has violated the principle of decency and appropriateness of the public.
This undermines public trust.

The disclosure of the assets of a tax official, Rafael Alun Trisambodo, valued at around Rp. 56 billion, revealed the wealth of other DGT employees, one of which was the Director General of Taxes, Suryo Utomo and the employees who ride motorbikes.
Previously, viral videos and photos of Suryo driving a moge circulated on social media. In the photos and videos, Suryo is seen disobeying traffic rules by not wearing a helmet. If seen from the LHKPN, it is known that Suryo does indeed own a Harley Davidson motorbike.
It is known that employees of the Directorate General of Taxes who like motorbikes are members of a community called Belasting Rijder. Previously, Belasting Rijder also had an Instagram account. However, this account has now disappeared after several viral uploads of DGT employees riding motorbikes.
