Tor Bernt Tretten (80 years old) died on Saturday 12 November following an accident in Storslett, in the municipality of Nordreisa.
This was announced on Thursday by the Troms police district.
The case is being investigated by the Troms Police District.
Relatives have been notified that the name of the deceased will be released.
Tretten died on Monday of injuries sustained after being hit by an electric bicycle in Storslett town center on Saturday 12 November.
A young woman was sitting on the bicycle. You now have defendant status in connection with the seizure of the electric bicycle. The police do not want to go into detail on what the woman explained in the interrogation.
Police say it is too early to say anything about the cause of the collision.
