The soccer team in the FIFA Women’s World Cup lost in the second match against Morocco, making it virtually impossible to advance to the round of 16.
Even against Morocco, 72nd in the FIFA rankings, his performance was frustrating enough that he couldn’t even hit a single effective shot.
Reporter Junhee Lee reports.

Coach Colin Bell showed his tenacity for a multi-scoring victory by taking out the card of tall striker Park Eun-seon.
However, before he could even launch a proper attack, he was struck.
Six minutes into the match, Morocco Yvetisam Zreidi gave up the opening header.
Allowing a cross too easily led to a painful goal.
The national team launched a counterattack, aiming for the head of tall Park Eun-sun and continued to attack, but the diving header slightly missed the goal, and the detailed finish was disappointing.
In the second half, head coach Colin Bell mobilized all attacking resources, including Yuri Choi, Casey Eugene Fair, and Garam Chun, but was unable to open the goal in the end.
When we lost to Morocco, which we thought was a lower score, without a single effective shot, our players were embarrassed and had no choice but to admit defeat.

With the possibility of advancing to the round of 16 slim, head coach Colin Bell said this was the reality and demanded intense reforms to change Korean women’s football from the ground up.
