In the Lion Air accident tragedy in 2018, the airline provided compensation funds to the heirs of the victims. The aid fund consists of cash compensation worth Rp. 2.06 billion and social funds or CSR with a similar amount.
The results of the investigation conducted by the police found that there was an alleged embezzlement of the aid funds by ACT. ACT is said to have never involved the heirs in the preparation and use of CSR funds distributed by Boeing.
“In the implementation of the distribution of social funds/CSR, the heirs were not included in the planning or implementation of the use of the social funds/CSR and the ACT Foundation did not inform the heirs of the amount of CSR funds they received from Boeing and the use of CSR funds. that,” said Ramadhan.

The families of the victims of the Lion Air JT-610 plane are disappointed with ACT officials over the alleged embezzlement of heirs’ funds. This disappointment was expressed by Vini Wulandari, the younger brother of the Lion Air JT-610 co-pilot named Harvino. Vini said that ACT should have submitted a work report before the funds were received from Boeing.
“They also have not provided a work program for the funds that have been given. Before the funds were received, they should have made a program to distribute the funds,” said Vini when contacted, Sunday (10/7).
“But until finally it was discovered that the funds were embezzled. They used the money for personal use. Of course, the victim’s family was very, very disappointed,” he continued.
