Commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces, General Andika Perkasa expressed his disappointment with the company commander (danki) in Gome District, Puncak Regency, Papua. Andika said the danki had been negligent. Even his negligence caused three soldiers to die.
Andika Feels Awkward
Andika said his negligence occurred during an armed criminal group (KKB) terrorist attack on a TNI post in Gome District, Puncak Regency, Papua. Andika found an oddity in the incident of Danki’s attack in the post, which turned out to be a lie.
“It turned out that the result was a lie, what happened was not what was reported and what actually happened was hidden by the danki from the battalion commander,” Andika said in a video shared with reporters, Saturday (19/3).
Andika explained that the attack was indeed carried out by KKB. However, in this case, the danki in the post was negligent because he underestimated security.
“So, yes, it is true that those who commit the crime of murder are armed groups, but there is also a role for the deployment by the Company Commander, who in this case is the commander of the post in a place that is not taken into account and is underestimated,” he said.
Andika Asks Danki to Be Legally Processed
Andika asked the danki to be legally processed. According to him, this can be a lesson for other soldiers so that it doesn’t happen again.
“So I want a legal process against this danpos or the company commander. It will be completed so that it can be a lesson as well,” said Andika.
