Romelu Lukaku really disappointed Belgium deleted by World Cup 2022. The 29-year-old striker hit the glass of the player’s bench until it broke.
Belgium were definitely knocked out of the 2022 World Cup, after failing to win in their last Group F match. Against Croatia at Ahmed bin Ali Stadium, Al Rayyan, Qatar, Thursday (1/12/2022), Rode Duivels were held to a 0-0 draw.
Lukaku, who started the second half, was very disappointed with the draw. He has been seen venting his anger on the players on the bench.
Stepping out of the field for a moment the long whistle blew, Romelu Lukaku punch the glass of the player’s bench. The glass of the bench which was made of thick plastic broke due to the hard punch of his right hand.

In the match against Croatia, Lukaku himself had many chances to score. It was noted that he had five chances, including one of which he hit the crossbar. However, he failed to convert them all into targets.
The final score allowed Belgium to pick up just four points at the end of Group F. Roberto Martinez’s side had previously won only 1-0 over Canada, and were silenced by Morocco 0-2.
Group F, Belgium unable to compete with Morocco with 7 points, in the 2-1 victory over Canada, e Croatia which collects 5 points. The two made sure to switch to World Cup 2022 round of 16.
