A man of passion and conviction, Lucien Felli worked as a lawyer in the late 1960s at the bars of Paris and Ajaccio. He was close to Edmond Simeoni, whom he had defended as a result of the events in Aleria. In various cases, he was regularly called upon to defend activists of Corsican nationalism.
His nationalist commitment had led him, in 2008, to lead a list in the municipal elections of Ajaccio, “Ajaccio Corsican City, Living City”.
Lucien Felli was also very involved in sports, especially football. In a statement, the Corsican Football League pays tribute to him, through the voice of its president, Jean-René Moracchini: “He dreamed of a Corsican football with a strong identity and did not fail to support all our clubs, at home and abroad. He was also the defender of the national authorities and did not tolerate injustice, which ‘he fought in accordance with the law. “ It was thanks to Lucien Felli, in particular, that the Squadra Corsa was able to see the light of day in the late 1960s and thrive.
