(ANSA) – FOIANO DELLA CHIANA (AREZZO), 06 OCT – Following the discovery of the body of a woman who disappeared yesterday in the Arezzo area, the hypothesis of a murder has not been ruled out. They found her dead in a field in Foiano della Chiana (Arezzo) with a glaring head wound. The victim’s name was Letizia Giordani, she was 72 years old, she was a psychotherapist, she lived in a farmhouse between Foiano and the hamlet of Pozzo. The woman, according to what was reconstructed by the police, was found dead last night after her husband had reported her missing. The body was found in a field owned by the family. The police arrived on site with the prosecutor Julia Maggiore: they listened to her husband, an artist of Canadian origin who yesterday had contacted his daughter, living abroad, worried about the disappearance of his wife. It was then her daughter who called 112Nue and started the search, which then had a tragic outcome. The hypotheses are all open, from an accidental fall to murder. As the hours pass, this last lead is becoming more and more considered since the deep wound to the head seems compatible with a blunt object with which the victim may have been hit. Scientific investigations will have to provide more certain indications. The investigations are in full progress. Letizia Giordani lived with her husband in the country house. (HANDLE).
