Disability, “The condominium of dreams”, a theater show with a strong message of inclusion

OSIMO– Tomorrow, March 13th, at 9pm, the show “will be staged at the Astra Theater in CastelfidardoThe Dreams Condominium“, a production by the company Il Cantiere dei Sogni, directed by Gianni Giorgetti and Marinella Sbiroli. The theatrical piece is promoted by Lega del Filo d’Oro ETS Foundation.with the patronage of the Municipality of Castelfidardo and with the contribution of Neri Marcorè and Maestro Leonardo De Amicis, who are, respectively, testimonials and ambassadors of the Foundation.

An exciting journey. Through the power of dreams, a strong message of inclusion is achieved, with the theater company made up of boys and girls suffering from deafblindness and multiple psychosensory impairments, together with volunteers and amateur actors. Thanks to the creative force of imagination, the children of the company manage to overcome the limits imposed by disability: theatrical activity represents the possibility of going beyond themselves, beyond darkness and silence, allowing them to express themselves by developing their abilities.

Satisfaction with every goal achieved. “The work of League of the Golden Thread has always been oriented towards enhancing the potential of each person, going beyond the limits set by disability – says Rossano Bartoli, president of the Foundation – this same inclusive approach is shared by the theater company Il Construction site of dreamswhich will bring on stage the kids, who face a complex challenge every day, making us emotional for every goal achieved, like this show which sees them as protagonists of an important inclusion initiative”.

An ambitious dream. The Dreams Condominium it is a show that with its simplicity deeply touches the hearts of the audience. The plot, set in an apartment building, refers to a past time, in which even dreaming had become difficult, until the divine Morpheus, accompanied by his brothers Fantaso and Fobetore, decides to intervene by revolutionizing the lives of the protagonists, opening up their doors of dreamlike imagination and hope.

An allegory about isolation. The work is, in fact, an allegory: it tells of the isolation experienced by deafblind people during the lockdown and of that light of hope, represented by League of the Golden Thread, which in turn was born from an ambitious dream, that of bringing the light of dreams to those who, living isolated, did not have the right to dream. The text adaptation is by Francesco Mercurio; the musical arrangement by Alberto Bodini; the costumes by Fiorisa Bonifazi and the choreography by Alessia Piscini. The show is free to enter.
