A tavern in the Kelantan area has been caught serving dirty food. According to a report on Hype (22/5), evidence that the shop doesn’t care about cleanliness can be seen in a video uploaded by a netizen on TikTok.

This netizen with the username TikTok @izzmida_ one day covered a famous shop with a noodle soup menu in Pasir Mas, Kelantan, Malaysia. Izzmida was shocked when she saw the window of the shop with a squalid and far from hygienic view.

In the window, you can see the ingredients for mixing the vermicelli soup, such as meat and several other ingredients. One of the pieces of meat seemed to be infested with flies.

Not only one, but there was another swarm of flies that also flew over the meat. After one of the flies landed on the meat, the shop owner was indifferent.

Izzmida was surprised by the attitude of the tavern owner who let the flies sit on his meat and food for a long time. He was worried that the flies would lay their eggs or contaminate the food in another way.

“Please keep the shop clean. I swear this is absolutely disgusting. How can someone run their business without understanding how to cover food? Plus the shop workers don’t seem to see the flies,” Izzmida wrote.

Izzmida’s upload received a response from netizens. Many people shudder at the sight of dirty food stalls and don’t care about the quality of their food.

“This is the reason I never want to eat at a street shop,” wrote one of the netizens.

“The best way we can do is pay attention to the shop before deciding to buy food there,” continued another netizen.
