After Watch Dogs Legion or Far Cry 6, it’s DiRT 5’s turn to present its official cover for the Xbox range.
On July 9, Sony shared the cover of Marvel’s Spider-Man : Miles Morales, the very first exclusive to appear on the PlayStation 5. A few days later, during the Ubisoft Forward, it was the first boxes of the Xbox range to unveil with the presentation of the jackets Watch Dogs Legion and of Far Cry 6. Today, it is the turn of DiRT 5, the racing game from Codemasters to show itself to the public.
As you can see by looking at the images above, with the arrival of this new generation of console, Microsoft is once again looking to unify its different models, Xbox One and Xbox Series X, by offering a single box for both media. The only new feature of these new boxes is the removal of the Xbox One logo from the upper border to make room for the Xbox logo. However, for titles compatible with the two generations of Microsoft console like DiRT 5 therefore, the Xbox boxes will display many inscriptions starting with the name of the two machines in the top left of the jacket, the addition of the badge ” Optimized for Xbox Series X “, as well as three additional texts indicating support for 4K resolution, HDR and Smart Delivery.
As a reminder, DiRT 5 is expected for October 9, 2020 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game will also be available at the launch of new consoles from Sony and Microsoft.
