Dirt 5 performance mode on Xbox Series X now works as well as PS5 – EzAnime.net

Thanks to the new update 2.00, Dirt 5’s Xbox Series X performance mode should now work just as well as it does on PlayStation 5.

Codemasters has released Update 2.00 for Dirt 5, which greatly improves the game’s Frame Rate Prioritize mode in Xbox Serie X, so the runner should now run just as well on the console as it does on the PlayStation 5. Dirt 5 Update 2.00 introduces a host of changes, including those related to visual fixes. The patch notes appearing on the official Codemasters website for the runner reveal that visual enhancements should be present especially for the frame rate prioritizing mode on Xbox Series X. On this matter, the patch notes describe the addition from “more general visual and performance improvements across the board, including visual updates to ‘Prioritize Frame Rate’ / 120hz mode on Xbox Series X”. The other visual improvements in the patch introduce better FPS support for Image Quality mode on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, fix flickering that would appear during nightly events, and fix an issue that was causing the game to freeze on the Sponsors tab of career.

It appears that the update is already proving to be a success, as Digital Foundry’s John Linneman confirmed that the “low geometry bug” previously affecting the Xbox Series X version of Dirt 5 has actually been fixed.
