eHealth has enormous potential to improve the care of adult patients with a congenital heart defect. Especially during the corona pandemic it became clear how important and useful remote care can be. The number of possibilities in technology is growing day by day, but just applying eHealth is not efficient. In his thesis, PhD student Kauw describes a number of tools to determine which aids are best for which patient group.

Kauw investigated the use of eHealth in the care of adult patients with congenital heart defects (ACHD) and the associated current and future perspectives. He examined the benefits and challenges of using eHealth in daily practice in ACHD patients and identified patient groups that benefit most from using eHealth.
