Diris South Lima administers second booster of bivalent vaccine to 200+ individuals at Maria Rosario Araoz municipal shelter

Health personnel from the Directorate of Integrated Health Networks (Diris) South Lima went to the María Rosario Araoz municipal shelter, located in San Juan de Miraflores, to apply the second booster of the bivalent vaccine against covid-19 to more than 200 people reported the Ministry of Health (Minsa).

According to the Immunization Directorate of the Minsa, from January to date, more than 880,000 bivalent vaccines have been applied to people over 60 years of age throughout the country.

23% already have their first reinforcement. For this reason, relatives or caregivers of older adults are asked to take them to the nearest vaccination point to receive their second booster.

The Minsa reminds that people in this age group need two boosters of the bivalent vaccine at an interval of 4 months.
