Director Tomáš Magnusek Retires After Criticism of Latest Film Portraying Roma Community

Director Tomáš Magnusek (38) received a lot of criticism for his latest film Bastardi: Reparát. Although, according to his words, he tried to help the Roma community with the film, which his work largely deals with, he did not receive much praise from them. On the contrary, because it doesn’t exactly portray her in the best light and, according to critics, Magnusek only helps to create a negative image of her. That is why he revealed in an interview for eXtra.cz that it was his last film and that he is already looking forward to retirement.
