“Weakness! Weakness is what binds me. If we count, a lot of my plays are about insanity. But I’m not afraid, because I navigate in it,” the theater and cinema director, also the student’s favorite pedagogue, smiles during the conversation in the program “Šņorbēniņi” Pēteris Krylovs.

To the question of theater scholar Ieva Strukas, whether it is possible to navigate insanity with reason, the director answers in the affirmative: “It is similar to how motor sportsmen drive in turns, almost touching the ground with their shoulder. If you touch too much, he will fly away! But well – [vajag] learn to take that turn!”
